Our Alchemy On Lorne merch is kind of a client driven miracle to us.
It didn’t start out that way. It started with one of our guests asking for a hoodie – and we thought because of the pandemic that may be a creative way to sustain us through the lockdowns… kinda selfish, but also we are just a little shop in Sudbury – one that opened less than a year before Covid began shutting us down. So we made some merch… then our guests made it magic.
Let me explain… We started getting messages and posts on our social media telling us about people connecting and talking in the real world… because they weren’t afraid to smile or talk to one another because they knew that they were supporting our little shop – and what it stands for- acceptance. And they “had a mutual friend.”
We are proud and humbled by the love and support we have received and will continue to try to provide designs that make you proud to wear!
Our team
Sabrina
Sabrina our resident Barber is also a Master Colourist. When she is not at Alchemy, you can find her running around after her family and reading books about aliens building the pyramids. She has had the adventure of educating twice at the Old School Academy in Rotterdam and has completed her Master Colourist at the Goldwell Academy in New York. Sabrina is a competitive barber and is constantly striving to be better than yesterday -but she has also earned some hardware to back that up. She is known for being a little out there, but also for creating looks tailored to her guests. Sabrina wants you to leave your chair feeling like your most authentic you.

Chlöe
Chlöe has been in the hair game since 2020. She is a fully licenced hairstylist that has a never-ending love for a shag, mullet, curly cut or any out-of-the-box hairstyle. Chlöe enjoys making fashion colour and lived in blonde dreams come true. Chlöe also has a burning passion for barbering. She has recently taken training in Holland at The old school Barber Academy, with this new learning experience she is always looking to perfect a barbered cut. In her personal life, you can find her in any greenhouse enjoying plants, at home hanging with her cat or out looking for a new hiking spot.

Gillian
Gillian has been doing hair since 2010. Gillian is an incredible barber, master of lightener and really great at all things cut and colour! She has a chill, quirky demeanour albeit a little monotone. It’s one of her many charm points 🙂 She loves cartoons and old rock and she actually speaks sports.
